One of the most unique restaurants in CT in continuous operation since the 1980s. A historic site in a former brush mill dating to the early 1800's, the restaurant occupies 7400sf with views of the Pattaconk brook and waterfall from two levels. Sited on the north bank of the brook, the sight and sound of the waterfall capture one's attention when passing over the bridge to the entrance of the restaurant on the lower level which is accessed by a covered footbridge. The rustic 40-seat bar and seating around a stone stacked wood burning fireplace add to the dining experience in this remarkable setting. With chestnut beams throughout and much of the mill components suspended from the ceilings, it is easy to imagine the mill in its earliest days. Much of the original photos and memorabilia remain as testament to the mill's early production of brushes from 1859-1965. On the second level there are 80 seats in the main dining room, two event rooms seating 60 and 40 guests respectively and a small private dining room for 12 guests. Two patios overlook the brook and waterfall seating 18 and 16 guests.

Owners are retiring after 60 years in the restaurant business and moving to Europe.
